Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing and E-commerce, the Marketing and E-commerce Manager is responsible for leading a team with the mission the grow the X brand in Canada from an omnichannel perspective
Your role within our team:
• Implement a multi-channel and e-commerce marketing plan focused on growth (in-store traffic, e-commerce revenue), including awareness, acquisition, conversion and retention objectives, and develop strategic recommendations for the continuous optimization of results;
• Develop seasonal marketing campaigns supporting new and flagship products for the brand’s various communication channels (e-newsletter, social networks, digital advertising, website) with internal teams and external collaborators;
• Optimize digital media campaigns and promotional initiatives in collaboration with our agencies to increase traffic, conversion and maximize return on investment;
• Collaborate with the various internal departments (customer experience, sales, IT and shipping) to offer an exceptional customer experience and purchasing journey that is flawless and exceeds expectations;
• Implement a development plan for the website in partnership with the IT team, and manage projects with the web development agency;
• Oversee daily e-commerce operations, maintenance and performance measurement. Employ a data-driven approach to analysis and decisions;
• Implement and test new marketing channels while measuring existing channels in order to generate more effective advertising spending in line with company objectives.
• Create content for the website and product pages to ensure they are inspiring and promote conversion;
• Develop and lead a team including roles such as: Marketing and E-commerce Supervisor, Web Merchandiser and Graphic Designer;
• Ensure the team possesses excellent knowledge of products and the furniture market by working alongside the purchasing departments, the sales team and by monitoring competitive intelligence.
You are the person we are looking for if you possess the following skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration or Science;
• An MBA or a master’s degree would be an asset;
• 5+ years of experience in marketing and e-commerce; demonstrated success in implementing marketing campaigns, e-commerce growth and leveraging digital-campaign and newsletter • platforms to drive customer acquisition and conversion;
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing a multidisciplinary team;
• Knowledge of the furniture industry is a plus;
• A passion for marketing, e-commerce and data;
• Demonstrated ability to deliver unique and engaging user experiences;
• Strong problem-solving and creative skills;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (French–English);
• Ability to establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with various internal partners;
• Proficiency in CMS, email campaigns, digital analytics and CRM tools.
