Materials and Care
RopeDesigned especially for outdoor use, synthetic-fibre rope generally requires next to no maintenance. It dries quickly and is resistant to inclement weather and fading, as well damage from the sun’s rays. Clean it using a soft brush and soapy water.
AcrylicA prized choice in outdoor furniture manufacturing, acrylic fibre is a synthetic material that dries quickly and does not need to be ironed. UV resistant, it prevents the fading and wear and tear associated with sun exposure. To remove a stain, wipe it immediately using a mild soap and lukewarm water.
Stainless SteelStainless steel is distinguished by high resistance and durability. Its weightiness also makes it an ideal choice for furniture that needs to hold its ground in windy conditions. However, it can tarnish in the form of rust chips. To prevent that from happening, be sure to clean it regularly with water and mild soap before drying with a microfibre cloth. Once or twice a season, you can apply a protective product designed for stainless steel. Avoid placing it near a saltwater swimming pool. -
