GENERAL TERMS OF SALE

1/ ORDER CONFIRMATION

By signing the purchase order at one of the G2MC Inc. stores (Maison Corbeil, Jardin de Ville, MUST, La Galerie du Meuble, Home Société), you are agreeing to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. In addition to appearing in detail on the order, the General Terms of Sale are available on our website and in-store. The price invoiced is the one that is displayed and from which any discounts granted will been subtracted, if applicable.

2/ ORDER CANCELLATION

You have the option to cancel your order partially or fully within three (3) days for special orders (customized or customer-specified items) and within seven (7) days for regular orders following your purchase. To initiate a cancellation, contact your in-store advisor or our customer service team. If the cancellation is made within the specified timeframes, the amount paid will be refunded. Beyond these time limits, G2MC Inc. will apply cancellation fees as follows:

  • A minimum of 50% of the value of the cancelled items for any special order.
  • 15% of the value of the cancelled items or a credit note equivalent to the amount already paid of the cancelled items for any regular order.

For all orders related to the Winsol collection (pergolas and awnings), you have the option to cancel your order up to 24 hours before the order is placed with the supplier. All costs associated with the order (travel, design, and site pre-visit) must be paid to G2MC Inc. After these deadlines, G2MC Inc. will impose cancellation fees equal to 50% of the value of the cancelled items.

3/ PAYMENT

G2MC Inc. accepts the following forms of payment: credit card (Visa, American Express or Mastercard), certified check, bank draft, cash, or wire transfer. No order will be delivered unless invoice has been paid in full at least three (3) working days prior to the delivery date.

4/ DEPOSITS

A minimum deposit of 50% is required for any order completed in-store. No order will be processed prior to the collection of the deposit.

5/ FULFILLMENT TIME

G2MC Inc. is dependent on the delivery schedule of its suppliers. Products are offered subject to supply availability, and thus, within a non-guaranteed time frame. If a delay or stock shortage prevents the delivery of an ordered item within a reasonable time frame, G2MC Inc. will notify the customer in order to determine an appropriate solution.

6/ DELIVERY

The accuracy of the delivery address and telephone numbers is the customer's responsibility. G2MC Inc. assumes no responsibility for any delay or failure to deliver as a result of incorrect or incomplete contact information. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery can be made in adequate conditions, which includes but is not limited to: verifying the accessibility of the premises, clearing the area where the furniture will be placed, and validating the availability of the elevator, ramp or loading dock. The customer must notify G2MC Inc. of any issue(s) that could interfere with the successful delivery of the order. It is also the customer's responsibility to check the condition of the package at the time of delivery. In the event of a compliance issue, the customer is responsible for communicating the issue to the delivery person(s) before the installation is completed, or within 24 hours after receiving the delivered items without installation. G2MC may, at its sole discretion and without any liability or penalty, deliver products through partial deliveries of orders to the customer (in multiple shipments). Each delivery will be considered a separate sale, and the customer must pay for the units shipped, whether or not this shipment constitutes a partial fulfillment of their purchase order.

7/ DELIVERY BY INDEPENDENT CARRIER HIRED BY THE CUSTOMER

G2MC Inc. accepts no responsibility concerning deliveries subcontracted to an independent carrier hired by the customer. Any delay in delivery after the merchandise has left our warehouse at the scheduled time will not be the legal responsibility of G2MC Inc. In such cases, no compensation will be granted. In addition, G2MC Inc. cannot be held liable in the event of a problem or dispute with an independent carrier (delay, strike, loss, damage, etc.). In such a case, the dispute must be resolved directly with the carrier concerned.

8/ DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION FEES

Unless otherwise specified, delivery and installation costs will be applied according to the rates in effect and according to the option chosen by the customer. The customer has up to 72 hours before the delivery to modify their delivery date. Beyond this deadline, G2MC Inc. will apply charges equivalent to the delivery costs to the customer. In cases where the delivery cannot be completed, in particular due to the customer's absence or any other issues related to the delivery location, additional retrieval fees equivalent to the delivery costs will be applied.

9/ CUSTOMER PICKUP

When picking up an order at the warehouse or in-store, the customer must ensure they confirm the opening hours, have their purchase order in hand and have paid the balance of their invoice beforehand. Upon taking possession of the item(s), the customer must verify the good condition of the product(s) and report any irregularity to G2MC Inc. personnel immediately; the customer must also inform personnel if the product received does not correspond to the product ordered (incorrect reference code, wrong colour, missing item, etc.).

10/ STORAGE FEES

Once notified of the receipt of their order, the customer has 90 days (or until September 30 for Jardin de Ville orders) following the notice to retrieve and schedule the delivery of their order. Beyond this timeframe, G2MC reserves the right to no longer hold the product for the customer, which may result in the loss of delivery priority of the customer’s order. In the event that the customer is not prepared to receive their order, they have the option to either (1) settle their outstanding balance and take advantage of 365 days of free storage (during which the customer is responsible for retrieving their order) or (2) pay monthly storage fees amounting to 1% of the contract value (or a minimum of $150).

11/ RETURN, EXCHANGE AND REFUND POLICY

No exchanges or refunds are permitted for special order items (customized or customer-specified items), mattresses, duvets, pillows, cushions, bedding or textiles. Purchases of 'final sale' products are final, with no warranty or possibility of refund or exchange. For all other items, the customer has the option to request an exchange or a credit note within seven (7) days of delivery. In this case, the delivery and return costs will be the customer's responsibility. The returned item must be in its original condition and accompanied by an invoice. The credit note will be issued within five (5) to ten (10) business days after receipt of the item. Delivery and return fees are non-refundable.

12/ PRICE ADJUSTMENT POLICY

If a customer notices a price drop or promotion on an item they recently purchased, they may request a price adjustment to take advantage of the new posted price, provided the item has not yet been delivered or picked up by the customer. In such cases, the customer will receive a credit note equivalent to the price difference, which can be used for a future purchase. Please note that no refunds or adjustments will be made to the ongoing contract (a contract for which the order has not yet been delivered). The customer has a 30-day window from the date of purchase to request an adjustment.

13/ WARRANTY

G2MC Inc. works with suppliers and manufacturers who offer various warranties on all their products. These warranties are limited to the replacement (identical product or equivalent value) or repair of defective items. A replacement will be made following verification and approval by the manufacturer.

The installation of outdoor furniture in an area exposed to gusty winds and severe weather conditions is not covered by our suppliers' limited warranty, and Jardin de Ville cannot be held responsible for damage caused by such weather conditions. It is the customer's responsibility to declare if they plan to expose their furniture to such conditions. In such cases, the sale may be refused or marked with the "High Winds" designation, which requires the installation of additional ground fixtures at the customer's expense. Purchases of 'final sale' products are final, with no warranty or possibility of refund or exchange.

14/ G2MC Inc. OWNERSHIP AND BRAND

In accordance with legal provisions, products manufactured or sold by G2MC Inc. remain the property of G2MC Inc. until payment has been made in full. All products are the intellectual, creative, artistic and commercial property of G2MC Inc. Any counterfeiting or attempted counterfeiting will result in legal action against the offender.

G2MC Inc.’s Policy and general practices are designed to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act of Canada (S.C. 2000, c. 5) and Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector Act of Quebec (R.S.Q., c.
